Iowa for Feingold: Feingold and Braley Focus on the Pocketbook Issues

Excerpted from this post at Iowa for Feingold

Sen. Feingold attended an event last night in Waterloo sponsored by Working Families Win, along with 1st District Congressional Candidate Bruce Braley. I was unable to attend, but heard from a someone who was there that there was well over 50-60 people in attendance. According to the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Courier, Feingold and Braley focused on the pocketbook issues like the minimum wage, health care, outsourcing jobs, and trade agreements... "We get in there, we take the majority, we're going to pass that minimum wage increase right away," Feingold said. Braley has promised not to take a congressional pay raise until the federal minimum wage is raised. Feingold said he's been doing that. "I've returned $60,000 to the Treasury."
